If you’re reading this, you might be going through something difficult or simply wanting to understand yourself and your life a little more. Whatever has brought you here, I want you to know this is a safe and supportive space where you can explore, reflect, and grow. My hope is that you feel truly heard and understood, without judgment, as we work together toward the changes you’d like to see in your life.
I’m an integrative counsellor with over ten years of experience in mental health, and I like to keep therapy flexible so it fits you as an individual. I draw on a range of approaches and always come back to empathy, understanding, and the belief that healing and growth are possible. I work with people facing all sorts of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and the unique experiences of neurodivergence. Whatever you bring, I’m here to listen and support you in finding a way forward.
I work with both adults and young people, and my training includes BACP Accreditation (2022), CPCAB Level 6 Therapeutic Supervision (2023), and CPCAB Level 4 Therapeutic Counselling (2018). I’ve also completed specialist training in areas such as trauma, domestic abuse, neurodivergence (ASD, ADHD, PDD-NOS), sexual abuse, personality disorders, and grief. This breadth of knowledge
I also deliver short courses with Oxfordshire MIND, combining professional insights with practical tools, and I tutor for The New-Futures Project, supporting trainee counsellors on their own CPCAB journeys.

If you’re considering counseling for a young person in your life, know that they’re not alone. Today’s challenges can be overwhelming for children and young people, and having a trusted, caring professional can make all the difference. My name is Sophie and I'm here to provide that support with a gentle, understanding approach, specifically tailored for children and young people aged 11 to 24.
I bring over 15 years of experience working in school environments and have served as an integrative school counselor since 2022 in a secondary school setting. My approach draws on extensive training, including a Diploma in Counselling Teenagers from the Institute of Arts in Therapy and Education, as well as trauma-informed practices and comprehensive safeguarding training and experience from the many young people I have worked with.
This background equips me to address a wide range of challenges young people may face, from anxiety and low self-esteem to trauma and relationship difficulties.
In sessions, I create a safe, confidential space where young people can express themselves openly and feel truly understood. My goal is to empower each individual with tools for resilience, self-confidence, and well-being, helping them navigate life’s complexities with greater ease.
If you believe that counseling could benefit the young person in your life, I am here toto provide the care, expertise, and support they need to thrive.
